Established in the year 2005, Techno India College of Technology is the youngest technical institute of the Techno India Group. In keeping with the vision of Techno India, this institute, situated in the most happening location of Kolkata at New Town, Rajarhat, is committed to empower the students with most comprehensive and best input. Even in this short span since inception, this institute proved its worth by producing rank holders in the West Bengal University of Technology semester examinations.

The management spares no effort in providing the state of the art academic and infrastructural facilities in addition to ample guidance for career development programmes for the students so that they prepare themselves to excel in academic and/or professional challenges ahead.

Library

The college has a Central Library of its own located in the ground floor of the building. The library has a total carpet area of about 3200 sq. ft. The library was started along with the establishment of the college in August, 2005 in order to serve the academic needs of the faculties, students, technical assistants, and other non- teaching staff of the college. The library also has a Reading Room of about 1000 sq. ft. with an accommodation of 60 readers. The total collection of the library (books only) is displayed in the reading room. Those books can be used for reading purpose only.

Library Hours

The library remains opened from Monday to Saturday from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm and remained closed on Sundays and other University Holidays.

Collection

The library has a total collection of about 14000 volumes and about 1300 titles at present. There are mainly two categories of books � texts and references. The library also provides journals and magazines of various interests which are to be used only in the journal section of the library. Books on various competitive examinations for career / service and documents on current information, general knowledge, dictionaries, newsletters CDs etc. are separately available for reading purpose only and cannot be taken outside the reading room.

 Training & Placement Cell

The Training & Placement Cell at Techno India College of Technology provides personal and career-related support to its students. Offering information, advice, guidance and support for job-seeking students is considered a primary responsibility at the T & P Cell. This idea is enable the students to effectively prepare for the further challenges in their life as well as in their careers. The effectiveness of the class room training and grooming at Techno India College of Technology is evident from its remarkable placement record for its first batch that will be passing out on 2009.
Techno India College of Technology has adopted a academic practice that provides for enhanced learning opportunities through co-operation with industry, business, counterpart institutions.It is pride that our graduates are highly rated by employers from industry.
