RCC Institute of Information Technology

RCC Institute of Information Technology, one of the renowned technical institutes in Kolkata(West Bengal), was set up in 1999. The institute, affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology, was established by Regional Computer Center Calcutta, with support from National Informatics Center (NIC), Government of India and Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal. Currently, the college is under RCC Institute of Technology, which is an autonomous Society of Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal. The courses offered by RCC Institute of Information Technology have approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It offers education in undergraduate technical programmes in various disciplines, along with postgraduate programme in computer applications.

Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
B Tech
The candidate should have passed Higher Secondary or equivalent examination in science stream with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as subjects of study, from a recognized Board.

Post Graduate:
MCA
The candidates must have a BE/B Tech degree in any discipline or Honors graduates with Mathematics / Computer Science as one of the subsidiary subjects at graduation or Honors graduates in Commerce, or the candidates, who have done their graduation in Computer Application, from a recognized university, are eligible.

Admission Procedure:

Undergraduate:

Admission is done on the basis of performance in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WB JEE) and All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE).

Entrance Test: WBJEE, AIEEE Exam

Post Graduate:
MCA
Admission is done on the basis of the candidate's performance in Joint Entrance for Computer Application (JECA).

Routine visits to the IT companies who have already rated RCCIIT and recruited students through Campus Interview

Host pooled campus interviews conducted by different companies; Students apart from our Institute come from different premier Colleges of West Bengal
