Seacom Engineering College has originated from Seacom Marine College
(Educational & Charitable Trust) and has been established in the year 2006 with the approval of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi and affiliated to the West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT) , Kolkata with the aim to provide quality technical education along with development of intellectual leadership - creating potential manpower for industries as well as research & development.

Also to promote academic achievements & research excellence to produce internationally accepted competitive and world class professionals who are psychologically strong and emotionally balanced, with social consciousness and ethical values.

We have a state of the art Library and reading room facilities.
The library allows the students to avail the facility of studying the booksin the reading room.

The college already having a good exposure and connection with the present industrial field including marine industry. The placement activities of this college has already been planned so that successful students coming out with B.Tech. degree will immediately absorb in suitable industry with maximum job satisfaction.
